Located in Old Town Midvale, our shop was created as a fresh, welcoming place for stitchers of every level. Whether you’ve been needlepointing for years, you’re picking up your first canvas, or you’re still in the “I don’t totally know what this is, but I’m intrigued” phase, you belong here.

A shop for stitchers of every level

One of our biggest goals is to make needlepoint feel approachable without losing the beauty, tradition, and craftsmanship that make it so special. Needlepoint has a rich history, and we love that. But we also believe it belongs right now — in your tote bag, on your coffee table, next to your favorite show, at girls’ night, or anywhere else you can sneak in a few stitches.

When you visit the Shoppe, you’ll find canvases, fibers, accessories, classes, and plenty of friendly help along the way. You do not need to know all the terminology. You do not need to arrive with a plan. You can absolutely walk in and say, “I’m new. Where do I start?” We’d love to answer that for you.

Yes, we’re a needlepoint shop. But we’re also a gathering place. We wanted to create a space where people could slow down, sit together, make something with their hands, and connect over a shared love of color, texture, design, and the occasional thread-related decision that feels far more dramatic than expected.

Need someone to reassure you that starting another canvas before finishing your current one is a time-honored tradition? We will neither confirm nor deny, but we understand.

What you’ll find in the Shoppe

Every visit can look a little different, but here’s the general idea. You’ll find needlepoint canvases for a variety of styles, seasons, personalities, and skill levels. Some are classic. Some are playful. Some are sentimental. Some are just plain fun.

You’ll also find a full spectrum of fibers, accessories, and supplies to help bring your project to life, along with classes and events designed to help stitchers learn, grow, and enjoy the process.

If you’re a longtime stitcher, we hope the Shoppe feels like a new favorite place to browse, stitch, and gather.

If you’re a beginner, we hope it feels like a deep breath. No pop quiz. No secret handshake. No gatekeeping. Just beautiful materials, helpful people, and a really good excuse to make something.

Why Historic Midvale?

We love being part of the Midvale community. There’s something about opening a creative shop in a historic area that feels right to us. We wanted a classic craft store, with a fresh point of view, rooted in a place with its own story. The Needlepoint Shoppe was designed to feel warm, inspiring, and easy to settle into. A place where you can stop by for supplies, stay for a class, or simply spend a little time surrounded by color and creativity.

Our current shop hours are:

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Closed: Sunday, Monday, and Thursday
